TK967 : Robust Adaptive Controller Design for a Boost Converter

Abstarct: Abstract In this study, fundamental concepts of adaptive control and boost converters have been investigated. Subsequently, a robust adaptive controller has been proposed for the boost converter, capable of mitigating the impact of parameter variations and disturbances. To validate the performance of the robust adaptive controller, system modeling and simulation have been conducted. Simulation results demonstrate that the use of the robust adaptive controller enhances the performance of the boost converter under unfavorable conditions and increases system stability. Furthermore, in this research, the effects of robust adaptive controller parameters have been examined and compared to optimize and enhance the overall controller performance. The innovation utilized in this study contributes to advancing knowledge in the field of adaptive control and improving the performance of boost converters for electrical energy conversion.
